Do Din was about unravelling the hidden folds of urban spaces and celebrating them in their rich diversity. In the Talk Space at Do Din, these sentiments were articulated pre-dominantly through speech and through the employment of strategically chosen vocabularies. In the Film Space, they were expressed through carefully crafted images projected onto a screen. The Exhibition Space, however, was set up with a radically different agenda. The people who took charge of this space pushed past established academic discursivity and the limitations of the flat screen. Their expressions were semiotic and also spatial experiments.
